Ensuring Intellectual Property Compliance in Independent I S A C A-Related Training

At EasyPathUni LLC, our mission is to provide accessible, professional training in auditing, governance, and risk management. To ensure that our independent courses on I S A C A-related topics (such as C I S A and A A I A) fully respect intellectual property rights, we contacted I S A C A’s Intellectual Property team for formal clarification.

Background

Our inquiry focused on the following approach:

  • Using only original training materials developed by EasyPathUni, without reproducing IS A C A’s proprietary content.
  • Including a clear disclaimer that the courses are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or recognized by I S A C A.
  • Issuing participation or CPE certificates from EasyPathUni only, not official I S A C A credentials.

ISACA’s Official Response

On September 19, 2025, we received a written response from Karen Heslop of I S A C A’s Intellectual Property department confirming:

  1. I S A C A does not object to the plan or the disclaimer we proposed.
  2. References to IS A C A and its certifications are permitted only as necessary to identify the topics of the independently developed training.
  3. The use of I S A C A ’s proprietary content or logos in any training materials is strictly prohibited Gmail – isaca approved Intellect….

Why This Matters

This official confirmation ensures that EasyPathUni operates within proper legal and ethical boundaries—respecting I S A C A’s intellectual property while continuing to deliver high-quality, independent training for learners and professionals preparing for globally recognized certifications.

EasyPathUni’s Commitment

We reaffirm our commitment to:

  • Producing authentic and innovative training content.
  • Respecting the intellectual property rights of certification bodies.
